“They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” -Andy Warhol
A couple of days ago, I ran across this photo and quote. I’ve been learning from and thinking about them ever since.
I’ve learned that everyday we are given the opportunity to change things. And not just small things, but real, tangible change. Whether it is launching a non-profit like Charity: Water which has helped over a million people get access to clean water, or simply helping a friend in need, you have the time to do great things.
Change is often not something that comes easy. For some reason unknown to me, humans often spend their whole lives fighting change. I don’t think that is any way to live. Why waste your time stopping progress, when you could spend it being a catalyst for amazing, unfathomable change!
Don’t ask permission. Today is your day. Go out and seize it! To me, there is no other way to live.
